DC and AC output.
UL Group solid-state relay modules use semiconductor switches instead of mechanical contacts to isolate controller outputs from field loads. They have no moving parts, so they switch silently, tolerate millions of operations and suit fast-cycling loads such as heater banks, indicator lamps, solenoid valves and stepper or servo enable lines. Each channel has an input LED and screw terminals on a DIN rail board.
Two output families are offered. DC output solid-state relay modules switch DC loads such as 24 V DC valves and lamps from a PLC transistor output. AC output solid-state relay modules switch 110 V or 230 V AC loads using zero-cross or random-fire devices, suited to heaters and AC contactor coils. Both come in multi-channel layouts to match PLC output card groupings.
Indian buyers use them in plastics, packaging, furnace and textile machines where output cards drive loads thousands of times per shift. Specify load voltage and current, DC or AC, input signal level, channel count, and panel ambient, since solid-state devices derate with heat and may need spacing or heatsinks.
Elume sells UL solid-state relay modules on order: send the part numbers or the specification and the quantity, and we come back with one GST-ready quote, usually within a working day. Bulk and project quantities welcome; delivery across India. See the whole UL range we quote on the UL page, or the full catalogue on UL's own site.
The series asked for most. Any other UL part number is quoted the same way.
Choose solid-state when the load cycles frequently, silence matters or contact wear would cause downtime, for example heaters, lamps and fast valves. Electromechanical relays remain better for mixed or high-inrush loads and where a physical contact gap is needed.
At low currents the on-board design suffices. Near the rated current or in hot panels they derate, so state the load current and ambient temperature in the enquiry and a suitable channel rating or spacing will be proposed.
Yes, an AC output module switches a 230 V AC coil directly from a PLC output. Check the coil holding and inrush current against the channel rating, and note that a small leakage current may keep very small coils energised; a bleeder may be advised.
