I/O cables and harnesses, more than 2,000 designs.
Prefabricated cables are factory-terminated multicore or ribbon cables that connect a PLC or DCS I/O card to a UL field interface module, FTA or passive module in one plug. Each cable is built to the card's connector and pinout, cut to the required length, labelled and continuity tested, so the panel builder plugs it in rather than crimping and ringing out dozens of cores on site.
Cables are offered for DI, DO, AI and AO interface modules and for a wide range of I/O cards with IDC/FRC, EDAC/ELCO, D-sub and manufacturer-specific connectors. Screened versions are used for analogue signals. Customised prefabricated cable assemblies cover unusual pinouts, dual-ended splits where one card feeds two modules, and lengths beyond standard. Each assembly is shipped with a test record.
Indian system integrators order these with the matching modules so a complete system cabinet is wired consistently across projects and spares are interchangeable. Specify the I/O card part number and connector, the module it connects to, cable length, screened or unscreened, and quantity, ideally as a cable schedule from the panel drawing.
Elume sells UL prefabricated plc and dcs cables on order: send the part numbers or the specification and the quantity, and we come back with one GST-ready quote, usually within a working day. Bulk and project quantities welcome; delivery across India. See the whole UL range we quote on the UL page, or the full catalogue on UL's own site.
The series asked for most. Any other UL part number is quoted the same way.
Factory cables use the correct connector, consistent core assignment and are continuity tested, which removes the most common wiring faults in I/O panels. They also save several hours per cabinet and make every panel on a project identical.
Yes. Customised assemblies are made to any card whose connector and pinout are supplied, including older DCS cards. Send the card part number and a pinout or manual extract with the enquiry.
Lengths are cut to order; typical in-cabinet runs are 1 to 5 metres and longer runs are possible for adjacent cabinets. State the exact run from the panel drawing so slack and routing are allowed for.
