IDC/FRC and ELCO/EDAC to screw terminals, CNC I/O modules.
Passive interface modules carry a PLC or CNC I/O connector on one side and screw or screw-less terminals on the other, with no relays or electronics in between. They let a ribbon or multicore cable from the I/O card land on terminals sized for site wiring, converting conventional point-to-point wiring into modular wiring that is faster to build and easier to trace.
UL Group offers passive modules for IDC/FRC ribbon connectors in 16 to 64 positions and for EDAC/ELCO connectors in 38, 56 and 90 positions, with screw or screw-less terminal options. CNC-specific I/O interface modules are built to the connector and pinout of CNC controllers, so machine I/O such as limit switches, lube and coolant outputs is marshalled on terminals matched to the controller's cable.
Indian machine tool builders, retrofitters and panel shops use them to wire CNC lathes, machining centres and PLC panels quickly and to standardise spares across machines. Specify the connector type and position count, terminal style, the controller or card model, cable length and whether LEDs or fuses push the need to an active interface module.

A passive module only converts a connector to terminals; the controller's own I/O drives the field directly. A relay module adds a relay per channel for isolation and higher load switching. Use passive modules for sensors and low-current signals, relay modules for contactors and solenoids.
CNC-specific modules are built to the connector and pinout of the controller named in the enquiry. State the controller make, model and the I/O connector reference from its manual and a matching module and cable will be quoted.
Yes. Prefabricated IDC/FRC and EDAC cables are supplied cut to length and tested with the module, so the card-to-module link arrives as one checked set and is plugged in on site.
