EtherCAT master for Yaskawa Sigma-7 servo axes.
The SLIO iMC7 is the motion-control variant of the SLIO CPU 015 that runs PLC logic and multi-axis motion control in one unit. It uses the EtherCAT master of the CPU 015N to command Yaskawa Sigma-7 servo drives and other EtherCAT axes with PLCopen motion function blocks, so positioning, gearing and camming are programmed in the same STEP 7 or SPEED7 Studio project as the machine logic.
The iMC7 is offered in licence levels for 4, 8 or 20 axes on the same 015-CEFNR00 hardware, activated by the integrated motion controller option. It supports single-axis positioning, synchronised axes, electronic gearing and camming, and uses the SLIO backplane for local digital, analog and counter modules. Programming is through the Yaskawa SPEED7 Studio or STEP 7 with the motion library.
Indian packaging, printing, textile and material-handling OEMs choose the iMC7 where a compact PLC must coordinate several servo axes without a separate motion controller. Specify the axis count, the drive family (Sigma-7 or other EtherCAT), the motion functions needed, the engineering tool and the SLIO I/O for the machine.
Elume sells VIPA slio imc7 motion cpu on order: send the part numbers or the specification and the quantity, and we come back with one GST-ready quote, usually within a working day. Bulk and project quantities welcome; delivery across India. See the whole VIPA range we quote on the VIPA page, or the full catalogue on VIPA's own site.
The series asked for most. Any other VIPA part number is quoted the same way.
No. The iMC7 integrates the motion controller into the CPU, so PLC logic and axis control run in the same project and cycle. A separate controller is only needed for very large axis counts or CNC-type interpolation beyond its scope.
The iMC7 commands drives over EtherCAT using CoE. Yaskawa Sigma-7 EtherCAT drives are the usual match, and other EtherCAT servo drives with the CiA 402 profile can be integrated. State the drive model in the enquiry.
The 4, 8 and 20 axis levels run on the same CPU hardware, so an upgrade is a licence change rather than a hardware swap. Choose the level that covers the machine's planned axis count to avoid a later upgrade.
