Yaskawa VIPA Controls memory cards and system components are the parts that complete a PLC order: cards that unlock memory and functions, storage cards for program backup, and the mechanical and electrical pieces such as bus connectors, rails, power supplies and terminal blocks that build a rack or a SLIO station. Ordering them with the CPU avoids a commissioning stop for a missing card.
VIPA SetCards (VSC, 955-C000xxx) are SD-format cards for SLIO CPUs that expand work memory and enable PROFIBUS master functions, and can double as storage. MCC memory configuration cards (953-1xx00) expand work memory on 300S+ SPEED7 CPUs from 32 KB to 8 MB. MMC multimedia cards (953-0KX10) and SD cards back up projects and data on 300S and SLIO CPUs. System components include SLIO terminal blocks and labels, 300S backplane bus connectors, mounting rails and 24 V power supplies.
Indian buyers typically order these with a CPU or as spares after a card failure or memory upgrade. State the CPU type and order number so the right card family is quoted, the memory size wanted, and for system parts the rack length or SLIO module count so connectors, rails and terminal blocks match.

A VIPA SetCard (VSC) in the 955-C000 family. It is inserted in the SD slot of the SLIO CPU and unlocks the memory size or PROFIBUS master function coded on it. MCC cards are for 300S+ CPUs, not SLIO.
Yes. SLIO and 300S+ CPUs accept SD or MMC cards up to 2 GB for automatic or manual backup and restore of the program and data, which is useful for machine cloning and field recovery.
The 300S uses S7-300 form-factor mounting rails and backplane bus connectors, so VIPA parts and the equivalent Siemens parts are interchangeable. Order the rail length to suit the module count with some spare length.
