S7-300 form-factor CPUs, drop-in for STEP 7 projects with faster scan times.
The 300S+ is the Yaskawa VIPA Controls high-speed PLC in the S7-300 form factor. Its CPUs use the SPEED7 processor for very short cycle times and are programmed with STEP 7, TIA Portal or WinPLC7, so they drop into racks where Siemens modules are already fitted and run existing S7-300 programs. Ethernet PG/OP, PROFIBUS-DP and MPI are on board, with optional SPEED bus for high-speed modules.
Compact CPUs integrate I/O: the 312SC (312-5BE23) with 16 DI and 8 DO, the 313SC (313-5BF23) adding analog channels, and the 314SC/DPM (314-6CG23) with PROFIBUS-DP master. Standard CPUs scale memory: the 315SN/NET (315-4NE23) with 1 MB and the 317SN/NET (317-4NE23) with 2 MB expandable to 8 MB, both with integrated CP 343 Ethernet, and the 315SN/PN ECO (315-4PN43) with a PROFINET controller. Memory expands with MCC cards, backup to MMC or SD.
Indian plants with S7-300 installations choose the 300S+ to upgrade speed and memory without changing racks, I/O or programs. Specify the CPU type, integrated I/O needs, PROFIBUS or PROFINET master, work memory and MCC expansion, the engineering tool version and whether Siemens modules will share the rack.
Elume sells VIPA 300s+ (speed7) cpus on order: send the part numbers or the specification and the quantity, and we come back with one GST-ready quote, usually within a working day. Bulk and project quantities welcome; delivery across India. See the whole VIPA range we quote on the VIPA page, or the full catalogue on VIPA's own site.
The series asked for most. Any other VIPA part number is quoted the same way.
Yes. The 300S+ is form- and function-compatible with S7-300, so Siemens signal and function modules can be mixed with VIPA modules in the same rack and addressed from the VIPA CPU.
Yes. The 315-4PN43 and other current 300S+ CPUs are configurable in TIA Portal as well as STEP 7 V5.x, using the VIPA hardware catalogue or a substitute Siemens CPU type, as described in the CPU manual.
Insert a VIPA MCC memory configuration card of the required size into the CPU card slot. The CPU recognises the card at start-up and the work memory grows to the card's value, up to the maximum for that CPU type.
