PROFINET to PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, EtherCAT; CANopen and J1939 onto PROFINET.
Helmholz couplers and gateways connect two automation networks that cannot talk to each other directly. A coupler exchanges I/O data between two PROFINET or PROFIBUS controllers while keeping each network independent; a PN/CAN gateway lets a PROFINET controller operate CANopen or Layer 2 CAN devices such as drives, sensors and valve islands; and the MQTT products publish PLC data to IT or cloud brokers.
The PROFINET Coupler PN/PN (700-158-3PN02) links two PROFINET IO systems, the DP/PN coupler (700-158-3DP02) links PROFIBUS and PROFINET, and the DP/DP coupler (700-158-0AD02) links two PROFIBUS masters. The PROFINET/CAN Gateway CANopen Master (700-670-PNC01) and its SLIM version (700-670-PNC51) make CANopen slaves visible as PROFINET I/O; the DP/CAN coupler (700-651-CAN01) does the same for PROFIBUS; the CAN-Bridge (700-660-2AA01) joins two CAN networks. The PROFINET Coupler MQTT (700-162-3MQ02) and MQTT-Broker (700-462-MQB01) cover IT connectivity.
Indian integrators use these when a machine with its own PLC joins a line controlled by another PLC, when CANopen drives or sensors must run under a Siemens PROFINET controller, or when PLC data must reach an MQTT-based dashboard. Specify the two networks and their controllers, the amount of exchange data, the CAN protocol and baud rate, and the number of CAN nodes.
Elume sells Helmholz profinet couplers and pn/can gateways on order: send the part numbers or the specification and the quantity, and we come back with one GST-ready quote, usually within a working day. Bulk and project quantities welcome; delivery across India. See the whole Helmholz range we quote on the Helmholz page, or the full catalogue on Helmholz's own site.
The series asked for most. Any other Helmholz part number is quoted the same way.
When two PROFINET controllers, for example a machine PLC and a line PLC, must exchange signals but each must keep its own IO system and IP range. The coupler appears as an IO device on both sides and mirrors the data between them.
Yes, through the PROFINET/CAN Gateway with CANopen master. The gateway is added to the TIA Portal project from its GSDML file, and the CANopen slaves' PDO data is mapped into the PROFINET I/O image of the S7-1500.
Yes. Besides CANopen master operation it supports Layer 2 CAN with transparent telegram exchange, so proprietary CAN devices can be read and written from the PLC program.
