Glass and plastic fibre cables for plant backbones.
HITRONIC is LAPP's fibre optic brand, covering glass optical fibre (GOF) cables in OM1 to OM4 multimode and OS2 singlemode, and polymer optical fibre (POF) cables for short machine-level links. The range is organised by application: building and industrial wiring, outdoor and direct burial, special movement such as torsion, and fire-performance cables. Constructions include central loose tube, breakout and tight-buffered designs.
HITRONIC HQN is a dielectric outdoor cable with central loose tube and rodent protection for direct burial; HVN and HQW are related outdoor types. HITRONIC TORSION is a breakout cable rated for ±180°/m rotation, used in wind turbines and rotating machines. HITRONIC FIRE covers circuit-integrity requirements. HITRONIC POF DUPLEX and POF for PROFINET are polymer cables for links up to about 70 m inside machines.
Indian plants use HITRONIC for backbone links between buildings and switch rooms, EMI-immune links across drives halls, outdoor runs to remote I/O, and POF links on PROFINET machines. Select by fibre type and count, indoor or outdoor jacket, armouring or dielectric construction, and whether the cable must flex or rotate.
Elume sells LAPP hitronic fibre optic on order: send the part numbers or the specification and the quantity, and we come back with one GST-ready quote, usually within a working day. Bulk and project quantities welcome; delivery across India. See the whole LAPP range we quote on the LAPP page, or the full catalogue on LAPP's own site.
The series asked for most. Any other LAPP part number is quoted the same way.
HITRONIC HQN is designed for direct burial: it is fully dielectric, has rodent protection and a central loose tube. State the fibre type and count and the route length and we will quote it on order.
Assemblies are available on order alongside bulk cable. Give the connector type on each end, the fibre type and the exact length, and Elume quotes the LAPP assembly with a GST invoice.
POF suits short links inside a machine, up to about 70 m, where easy on-site termination and tight bends matter more than bandwidth. For longer runs or 1 Gbit/s and above, use HITRONIC glass fibre in OM3, OM4 or OS2.
