CLIPLINE complete is Phoenix Contact's modular DIN-rail terminal block system. Every connection technology in the range, push-in, screw and spring-cage, shares one set of accessories: plug-in bridges, marking, test adapters, end covers and clamps. Blocks cover feed-through, earth, double-level, fuse, disconnect, component and sensor-actuator functions, from 0.14 mm² up to 185 mm² and up to 1000 V.
PT is the push-in series: tool-free wiring of solid conductors and ferruled flexible conductors from 0.14 mm², with PT 2,5 as the standard 24 A feed-through block. UT is the screw series with high contact force for 2.5 to 95 mm². ST is the spring-cage series for vibration-prone installations. PTV combines push-in with vertical screw-style wiring. PTTB double-level blocks save width, and PTFIX distribution blocks replace hand-bridged potential rails.
Indian panel builders use CLIPLINE on control panels, MCCs, marshalling cabinets and machine terminal strips. Specify by connection type, cross-section, function (feed-through, PE, fuse, disconnect, multi-level), number of positions, bridging requirements, marking and the accessories per rail. Mixed technologies on one rail are permitted because bridges and covers are shared.
