Links any two industrial networks (over 250 combinations) for I/O data exchange between PLCs.
Anybus X-gateway connects two industrial networks so that controllers of different brands can exchange I/O data. Each unit has two network interfaces, master or slave on either side, and a shared memory of up to 512 bytes in each direction that is copied cyclically between them. It is used where a Siemens PROFINET line must talk to an Allen-Bradley EtherNet/IP system, or a PROFIBUS DP network needs a Modbus TCP SCADA window.
The classic X-gateway family offers more than 200 combinations across fieldbus and Ethernet networks, with master interfaces for PROFIBUS, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP and AS-Interface and slave interfaces for most networks. The compact X-gateway Modbus-TCP and X-gateway EtherNet/IP series are single-box bridges with a web interface. X-gateway IIoT adds OPC UA and MQTT so PLC data can be published to IT systems, with up to 80 tags per unit.
Indian buyers state the two networks, which side is master or scanner and which is slave or adapter, the number of I/O bytes each way and whether OPC UA or MQTT output is wanted. Mention DIN rail space and 24 V DC supply so the correct housing is quoted.
