Belden fieldbus cables are built to the electrical specification of a named protocol so that impedance, capacitance and attenuation stay within the limits the network needs for its full segment length. They use tinned or bare copper pairs, foam or solid polyolefin insulation, Beldfoil foil shields usually combined with a tinned copper braid, and PVC or low-smoke jackets, with PLTC and CM ratings for tray and cabinet runs.
3079A is the 150 ohm PROFIBUS DP twinax with one 22 AWG solid pair. 3076F is the ISA SP-50 Type A single 18 AWG pair for FOUNDATION Fieldbus in orange and PROFIBUS PA in blue, with flexible, oil and sun resistant jacket. 3082A is the thick DeviceNet trunk cable with 15 AWG power and 18 AWG data pairs, 3084A the thin drop cable with 22 and 24 AWG pairs, and 3086A serves Honeywell SDS networks.
Indian process plants, OEMs and system integrators use these on DCS and PLC networks for drives, remote I/O, transmitters and valve positioners. Selection follows the protocol first, then trunk or drop role, jacket rating for tray, conduit or outdoor routing, shield construction for the EMI environment and the reel lengths that match segment distances.

3079A for PROFIBUS DP: it is the 150 ohm twinax type A cable. PROFIBUS PA uses the 3076F construction in a blue jacket, which is also the FOUNDATION Fieldbus cable in orange. The two are not interchangeable.
3082A thick cable carries more power and allows the full 500 m trunk at 125 kbit/s. 3084A thin cable is for drops and short trunks up to 100 m. Mixed trunks are allowed within the ODVA length rules.
The PLTC-ER rated 3082A and the sun-resistant 3076F are suited to tray and exposed runs. For direct burial or armoured requirements tell us the route and Elume quotes the matching Belden construction on order with a GST invoice.
