DataTuff is Belden's industrial Ethernet cable line, built for the shop floor rather than the office: bonded pairs that keep electrical performance through pulling and flexing, foil and braid shields against EMI from drives and welders, and jackets rated for oil, sunlight, abrasion, cold and mining use. Category 5e types cover 100 Mbit/s and 1 Gbit/s links, and Category 6A types support 10 Gbit/s and PoE++ to 100 W.
7919A is the MSHA-rated 24 AWG solid Cat 5e with foil shield for mining and harsh plants. 7929A is the bonded-pair CMR and CMG version for general industrial use. 7921A adds a tinned copper braid and a CMX-outdoor rating. 7958A is the 600 V AWM rated cable for running alongside power conductors in tray. 10GXW13 is the Cat 6A high-flex DataTuff cable, replacing 10GX13, with 10GXW12 as the riser-rated version.
Indian factories, mines, ports and utilities use DataTuff between PLCs, switches, cameras, drives and remote I/O where office cable fails. Choose by category, shielding (U/UTP, F/UTP, SF/UTP), conductor (solid for fixed, stranded for flexing), jacket rating (CMR, CMX outdoor, 600 V, MSHA) and run length within the 100 m channel limit.

Office cable lacks the shield, bonded pairs and oil, UV and abrasion resistant jacket that DataTuff carries. Near drives, welders and motors, unshielded office cable gives bit errors and short service life. 7929A or 7921A are the usual replacements.
7958A: its 600 V AWM 21047 rating allows installation in the same tray or raceway as power conductors, which standard CM-rated Ethernet cable does not permit.
Yes. Belden offers pre-terminated industrial cordsets built on these cables, including REVConnect versions. State the lengths and connector types and Elume quotes them on order with a GST invoice.
