RR Kabel Q1 Flame Retardant is a single-core flexible house wire: multi-drawn strands of electrolytic-grade copper (IS 8130 class 5, 84/0.31) under a specially formulated FR PVC insulation (IS 5831 Type D, 70 °C) that is lead and mercury free with anti-rodent and anti-termite properties. IS 694 marked and FIA/TAC approved, rated up to 1100 V for -15 °C to +70 °C, self-extinguishing with a limiting oxygen index above 29% and a temperature index above 250 °C. The 6.0 sq mm size carries 38 A in casing and 33 A concealed (IS 3961 Part V), with an overall diameter of 4.6 mm. This listing is the yellow coil, packed as a 90 m coil in a protective carton; we also list it in red, blue, black, green.
