Explosion-proof housings for refineries and chemical plants, fire-detection and other special-purpose cameras.
Explosion-proof cameras sit in certified stainless-steel housings that contain any internal spark so the camera can be installed in a hazardous area: refineries, petrochemical and chemical plants, paint shops, LPG bottling plants, grain silos and mines. Prama supplies fixed and PTZ explosion-proof cameras and automatic fire-detection cameras that raise an alarm on a flame or a temperature rise.
The special-purpose group also covers corrosion-resistant housings for coastal and chemical sites, anti-corrosion domes, cameras for high-temperature areas with cooling jackets and wipers for dust and rain. Hazardous-area classification (zone and gas group) decides the housing certification needed.
Tell us the hazardous-area zone and gas group, the number of cameras, fixed or PTZ, resolution, IR, whether fire detection is wanted, the mounting and the power available, and we quote the certified models.
