A CP Plus video door phone pairs an outdoor camera-and-call unit at the gate or door with an indoor touch monitor, so the resident sees and talks to the visitor and releases an electric lock from the panel. The villa kits are two-wire or IP, with 7-inch colour monitors, night vision at the door unit, snapshot and call memory, and on the IP versions a mobile app for answering from outside the home.
Builders and housing projects buy these in quantities for every flat or villa, with the door unit on the gate and monitors inside; the IP versions tie into the same network as the cameras and can call a guard room as well as the flat. Electric locks, power supplies and surface or flush mounting boxes are quoted with the kit.
