Network speed domes with optical zoom and long-range IR for perimeters, yards and roads.
A CP Plus PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) speed dome lets an operator or a preset tour cover a large area with one camera: it pans 360 degrees, tilts, and zooms optically 20x to 40x to read a number plate or a face at a distance that fixed cameras cannot. IR illuminators reach 100 to 250 metres on the larger models, and auto tracking follows a moving person or vehicle.
The range covers 2 MP and 4 MP network speed domes in 4-inch and 7-inch housings, IP66 weather rating, with PoE+ or 24 V AC power and wall, pole or ceiling mounts. Preset positions, patrol tours and alarm-triggered moves are set from the NVR or the VMS, and a joystick keyboard can be quoted for a control room.
Factory perimeters, warehouse yards, toll plazas, stadiums and city roads use PTZs alongside fixed cameras: fixed cameras record everything, the PTZ follows what matters. No. A PTZ looks at one place at a time, so an event elsewhere is missed. Use fixed cameras for coverage and the PTZ for detail and tracking.
Most CP Plus PTZs accept PoE+ (802.3at or 802.3bt) over Cat 6 up to 100 m, or 24 V AC from a local supply. We quote the supply with the camera.
Yes. Preset positions and patrol tours run on a schedule, and alarm inputs or analytics can send the camera to a preset automatically.
