Read: IP Ratings Explained: What IP44, IP65 and IP66 Mean for Outdoor Lights →
What does IP65 actually mean?
Dust-tight (6) and protected against water jets from any direction (5). In practice: sealed against Indian dust storms and wind-driven monsoon rain, which is why it is the sensible default for any exposed outdoor fitting.
Is IP44 enough for a balcony light?
For a covered balcony where rain arrives only as splash, yes. For an open balcony or a wall that driving rain reaches directly, step up to IP65; the price difference is now small.
Which IP rating do bathroom lights need?
Fittings outside the direct spray need IP44; anything inside the shower's spray path should be IP65. Ceiling fittings in a steamy bathroom benefit from IP44 or better even away from the shower.
Is Crompton 65 W Galaxy Rope Light (120 LED/m) · 50 m · Amber genuine and warranty-backed?

Yes. Every Crompton product on Elume is 100% genuine, sourced through authorised channels, and carries the manufacturer's standard warranty.

Do you deliver across India?

Yes - we deliver pan-India, usually within 3–7 working days. Delivery is free on orders of ₹4,000 and above; a flat ₹100 fee applies from ₹2,000 to ₹4,000 and ₹200 below ₹2,000.

Can I get a GST invoice?

Yes. Enter your GSTIN at checkout and we issue a GST invoice with tax shown separately, so businesses can claim input tax credit.

Is there a wholesale or bulk rate?

Yes. Orders of 15 or more pcs get a wholesale rate about 5% below the listed Elume price - shown on every product page.

What if I find it cheaper somewhere else?

Tell us. If the same Crompton product is listed for less, GST and delivery included, by an authorised Indian online seller, we match that price - before you order or within 7 days of ordering. The terms are on our lowest-price guarantee page.

What is the return policy?

Unused items in original packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery, with free return shipping.
