Are these materials genuine or printed effects?
Genuine. Norisys designer plates are solid glass, anodised aluminium and real wood; the metal levers on TG9 switches are solid metal. Thermoplastic ranges are honestly described as thermoplastic.
Do designer plates need special installation?
No. They snap-fit onto standard frames after the wall is painted, on the same module system as regular plates, so an electrician needs nothing unusual.
